A week long seminar/lecture on “Cell Group” was organized at Anderson Theological College by a team from South Korea.
They arrived on the campus on 27th of September 2025 and departed on 6th of October 2025.
The week was inaugurated with an introductory note from Dr Shitovi Sumi, Principal.
Rev. Sung Gyum Kim (Pastor Nick) Sr. Pastor Ansan Dongsan Church, South Korea imparted lessons on Cell Groups and the benefits of having smaller groups in churches. His lessons on Welcome, Worship, Word and Work was simple yet profound in learning the basics of Cell group dynamics in Christian circles. His experience as the Senior Pastor of one of the bigger churches in Korea enabled him to share with the students from his experience as a leader and shepherd. He concluded with a stress on two key areas in a Christian community – Listening to Others and Being a Learning Community.
Rev. Young Dae Kim, Director GLI, South Korea, gave valuable lessons on Leadership and imparted the famous five areas of Leadership development: Counselling, Coaching, Mentoring, Friending and Sending. His experience as a leader in various circles and as an expert in Mission work also enabled him to share insights on Leader’s Loving Servantship.
The guests also had the privilege of attending the Children Festival at ZTSBC, Zunheboto which was organized by Christian Education Department SBAK Aizuto. They also had campus tour and a marathon walk to watch tower at Apukito with the faculty, staffs, and students for leisure. The team closed their stay with an anointed fellowship with the believers at Centre Baptist Church Aizuto and Lokobomi Baptist Church on Sunday Devotional service.
