Anderson Theological College held it’s 28th Graduation Cermony at Center Baptist Church Aizuto with the theme “Empowered to Lead.” The guest speaker for the event was Dr. Bennet Lawrence, Regional Secretary Asia Theological Association (ATA).
The program was led by Mr. Viboto Chishi, Assistant Professor, accompanied by Ms. Kaboli G. Aye (B.Th I) as the pianist.
The graduation ceremony commenced with an Academic Procession led by Dr. Shitovi Sumi, Principal, accompanied by special guests, faculty, and graduates.
The event formally opened with an Invocation by Ms. Kainali Rochill, Assistant Professor, followed by the Opening Hymn, “Come, Thou Almighty King.”
The scripture reading was brought  from both the Old and New Testaments, shared respectively by Mr. Khetoka Zhimo, Accountant, and Ms. Honmei Phom, Assistant Professor.
The  Valedictory Speeches were delivered by Mr. Gaikhuanthui Rongmei (B.Th) and, Ms. I. Elisa Yeptho (M.Div), who eloquently reflected on their academic journey, and visions and plans of the graduates.
The special song, “He Will Be With Me”, was performed by the College Choir.
Mr. Kahovi Aye, Academic Dean, presented the Academic Report, highlighting the college’s accomplishments and academic growth over the year which was followed by the Conferring of Degrees by Dr. Shitovi Sumi, principal.
Altogether 41 students were conferred with Master of Divinity, Bachelor of Theology, and Diploma in Theology for the academic session 2024-2025 (Master of Divinity-16, Bachelor of Theology-17, and Diploma in Theology- 8).
Dr. Bennet Lawrence, Regional Secretary of ATA, delivered a powerful Charge to the graduates from Phillipians 1:9-11, encouraging them to invest in oneself by investing in knowledge and discernment, Actions-skills, fruit of righteousness- character, and loving others-people.
A Song of Commitment, “Living Proof”, was presented by the graduating class.
The Unveiling of the College Magazine and Prayer for Graduates was led by Rev. Dr. Daniel Chishi, Executive Secretary of SBAK, Aizuto.
The Awards segment recognized outstanding graduates. The academic excelence for Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Theology was bagged by Ms. I. Elisa Yeptho with GPA 91.66% and Mr. Gaikhuanthui Rongmei with GPA 90% respectively.
Award for excellence in Systematic Theology for Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Theology was awarded to Ms. I. Elisa Yeptho with GPA 97% and Ms. Vivitoli P. Aye with GPA 94.33%.
Award for excellence in Biblical Exposition for Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Theology was awarded to Ms. I. Elisa Yeptho with GPA 91.5% and Mr. Gaikhuanthui Rongmei with GPA 89.41%
Award for excellence in Biblical Languages  for Master of Divinity was bagged by Ms. Aloino A. Zhimo with a GPA [Hebrew (88.5%) and Greek (92.25%)]. For the Bachelor of Theology (Greek) was bagged by Mr. Gaikhuanthui Rongmei with GPA 98.33%.
Award for Homiletics for Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Theology was awarded to Mr. Kavi N. Zhimo and Ms. Vivitoli P. Aye respectively.
Award for music for Master of Divinity was awarded to Mr. Aloto Sumi, Mr. Kavi N. Zhimo, and Mr. Tunato. For the Bachelor of Theology it was awarded to Mr. Gaikhuanthui Rongmei.
Award for the Bibliophile was given to Ms. Aloino A. Zhimo (M.Div) and Mr. Issak Chik (B.Th).
The Anderson award for christian maturity and leadership was given to Mr. Tunato (M.Div), class of 2025.
The former Principal’s award was given to Ms. Omegali (B.Th), class of 2025.
Chairman’s Remark was delivered by Dr. Vinito Chishi, Chairman of the Governing Body, who expressed pride and encouragement for the college and the class of 2025.
The ceremony concluded with the Closing Hymn, “Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus”, and a final Benediction  was pronounced by Rev. Picuto Yeptho, Pastor of Centre Baptist Church Aizuto.
