Parents-Teachers Meeting (PTM)
The Parents-Teachers Meeting (PTM) of Anderson Theological College was held on 26 October 2023 to facilitate communication between parents, teachers, and students. The meeting aimed to discuss students’ academic progress, address concerns and foster a sense of collaboration between the college and parents.
The first session of fellowship took place in the college Auditorium and was attended by a significant number of parents, guardians, and church leaders.
The PTM began with a warm welcome and opening address by the college principal, Dr. Shitovi Sumi. He highlighted the importance of the collaboration between parents and teachers in ensuring students’ success.
Rev. Dr. Daniel Chishi, Executive Secretary SBAK Aizuto encouraged parents to actively participate in their child’s education and engage with teachers regularly to support their academic journey.
In the second break-out session, parents had the opportunity to meet with their children’s respective teachers to discuss their academic performance and any areas needing improvement.
Teachers provided insights on students’ strengths, weaknesses, and suggestions for improvement.
The college administration is committed to ongoing engagement and communication with parents to ensure the success of the students and the institution as a whole. We look forward to parents’ continued support and involvement in their children’s education.
